When we understand the depth of God's generous love for us through the work of Jesus on the cross, we should respond by using everything we have for His glory and for the benefit of others. We serve others generously as an opportunity to share His love and to point others to Christ.
Ministry Opportunities
Use your unique gifts to get involved in ministry and help build the Kingdom.
Here are a few ministries at Village Point Church that might fit your spiritual gifts.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY TEAM
Get involved with KID Connection for children (ages 3-grade 5) as a teacher or helper on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights. Help with childcare in the nursery on Sunday mornings or during special events.
EVENT TEAM
Help with special community and church events as needed including planning of events, set-up and clean-up. Be part of the decorating team for Christmas.
FACILITIES MINISTRY
Put your handyman skills to work by helping with projects around the church building.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS TEAM
Make a good “first impression” on all who attend Village Point Church by joining the greeters, welcome center, coffee servers and ushers on Sunday mornings.
KITCHEN MINISTRY
Assist with the preparation and serving of Wednesday night meals and at special events. Help to get the Panera donation ready for Sunday mornings.
LIFEGROUP MINISTRY
Lead a LifeGroup (a small group of adults) which includes Bible study, fellowship, prayer and serving others.
MISSIONS MINISTRY
Take part in praying for missionaries supported by VPC. Be a prayer friend to a specific missionary family.
OUTREACH MINISTRY
Serve others by participating in opportunities such as Feed My
Starving Children, Serving the Village Day and VPC outreach events.
PRAYER MINISTRY
Opportunities for prayer include Sunday morning women’s group, and Third Wednesday prayer meetings. Use the weekly VPC prayer list to pray for the world, our community and our church.
STUDENT MINISTRY TEAM
Encourage jr. high and sr. high school students on Wednesday nights — lead a small group, help with games each week and assist with special activities once a month.
WORSHIP & TECH TEAM
Use your vocal or instrumental musical gifts to help lead the congregation in worship. Use your technical skills to run the sound board, video recording and PowerPoint program during Sunday worship and other events at VPC.
